This 7" Gold Dimensional Cross is a replica of the Carolingian cross that hangs above the sanctuary of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut, the birthplace of the Knights of Columbus. It is modeled after a cross presented by Charlemagne, Holy Roman Emperor, to St. Peter’s in the 9th century and stolen from the Vatican in the 16th century.
